Miami Beach Pride is an annual celebration of the LGBT community in South Florida. This year’s event kicked off with the raising of the Pride Flag over Miami Beach City Hall, followed by the Pride Lights The Night light switch flipping ceremony, which honored the victims of the Pulse Orlando shooting with a variety of rainbow illuminated buildings on Miami Beach and Greater Miami. Both Laura Vargas & Mario Perez, Pulse survivors, were there to help celebrate Josean Garcia’s turn to flip the switch.
