I Want to Hold Your Hand
During the height of the Twilight franchise, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s romantic relationship received worldwide attention. Although the superstar couple worked hard to maintain some normalcy, they were never told not to be intimate. In fact, promoting their relationship on occasion was encouraged.
As Stewart began exploring her sexuality after the hype of the Twilight franchise died down, she experienced backlash from the very people who encouraged her previous relationship with Pattinson.
“I have fully been told, ‘If you just like do yourself a favour, and don’t go out holding your girlfriend’s hand in public, you might get a Marvel movie,'” she says. “I don’t want to work with people like that.”
Just more double standards from the powers that be.

A Breath of Fresh Air
Turtles are fascinating creatures—so fascinating in fact that some of them use their butt to breathe. The Scientific term that describes this weird phenomenon is called cloacal respiration—a complicated process to say the least. To put it simply, when turtles hibernate, they breathe through their butt. It’s not so much breathing as just diffusing oxygen in and carbon dioxide out. Science suggests that turtles have to endure the cold winter by any means necessary.

Can’t Hold Us Down
For those of you out there who don’t know, homosexuality was once listed as a mental disorder. But in 1973, The American Psychological Association said that ‘homosexuality per se implies no impairment in judgement, stability, reliability, or general social and vocational capabilities.’
