On Sunday, BMW, in partnership with NYC Pride, presented a virtual special broadcast event featuring five custom-wrapped BMW 8 Series convertibles that served as parade vehicles for a symbolic parade driven down the traditional Fifth Avenue route. As Pride events worldwide were altered due to unprecedented circumstances caused by COVID-19, BMW and NYC Pride worked together to create this live convoy featuring five custom-wrapped BMW 8 Series Convertibles, one of which was specially wrapped to honor frontline workers of the COVID-19 crisis. The specially wrapped vehicles featured blended rainbow colors that represent the entire Pride flag and LGBTQIA+ community.

Walk & Grub South Beach will take place from 6:30 to 9pm. Walk & Grub is NOT a group event, individuals will be on their own for over 2.5 hours sampling complimentary bites from restaurants/bars during their Walk & Grub. The Walk & Grubbers will show up at the restaurant and will be provided with a small sample of one of the restaurants favorite dish. Walk & Grubbers will not be entering the restaurant, samples and bites will be distributed in front of the restaurant. Walk & Grub South Beach will feature some of the best “food spots” in town. Cost is $25 per person. The goal of this event is to promote local restaurants/eateries to the community. Empire Stage Theater has re-opened with 3 more weekends of laughs with The Sheba Mason Comedy Club, starting tonight and going through July 19, with a different show each night! Featuring Sheba (daughter of Jackie Mason) and other hilarious comedians as well as the occasional talented singer or two! The audience will be seated safely by masked escorts and will be limited to 50% capacity with an abundance of hand sanitizer throughout the theater. The Box Gallery (811 Belvedere Road West Palm Beach) will re-open as planned with overwhelming safety measures and with additional expenses. “The Aesthetics of Politics In time of Protest” exhibition (opening reception today from 7-10pm) of works by 11 local artists that have taken it upon themselves to document the Black Lives Matter protests and some other challenging issues that have been unveiled throughout the last few turbulent months of unrest. Safety is of paramount concern, as is this exhibitions opening on Independence Day. Guests will be able to view installations and displays of the images from outside of the gallery where “social distance markers” will be placed on the sidewalks as they wait to enter the gallery on a rotating cycle allowing for a brief preview of the exhibition which runs through August 1, allowing for private viewing by appointment. “Social distance markers” will be set inside the gallery to avoid unnecessary grouping of individuals. As mandated no-one can enter without a face mark and no beverages or food will be served so face marks are not removed at all while inside the galley. Soft drinks and water will be served outside. Nina West and Hamilton Star Sydney James Harcourt Debut “She’s A Riot”

On Thursday June 25th during the “She’s A Riot” LGBTQIA Virtual Pride Rally, Hamilton Star Sydney James Harcourt and Drag Icon Nina West debuted the new video for their collaboration “A Safe Place to Land”, a cover of Sara Bareilles and John Legend’s touching duet about supporting people in need. The “She’s A Riot” event raised Awareness and Funds for the Marsha P Johnson Institute and GLAAD to benefit Transgender People of Color and was hosted by POSE star’s Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez. MTV’s+1 Supports Trans Youth

MTV’s +1 the Vote and Logo today announced that they have joined forces with non-profit organization Trans Lifeline to develop a new youth microgrant program to support Trans youth in changing their government ID documents to appropriately reflect their gender identity. To showcase the importance of voter access for the LGBTQ+ community, MTV’s +1 the Vote, Logo and Trans Lifeline created an animated short that follows the journeys of three transgender and non-binary young people from across the United States as they reflect on the experiences of updating their government IDs in order to easily and safely participate in the upcoming election. Miami Dolphins Announce New Movies at Hard Rock Stadium 

After a successful opening week with several sold out shows, the Miami Dolphins announced additional movie showings and a dinner and a movie ticket package at The Outdoor Theaters at Hard Rock Stadium presented by AutoNation. Starting July 2, the private dining experience will include a three-course meal with options for adults and children. The venue also announced a partnership with Tribeca Enterprises and will be showing content curated by Tribeca throughout the month of July with tickets available for purchase now.
