Tom Goss’s New Summer Anthem “Nerdy Bear”

“Nerdy Bear,” Tom Goss’s new summer anthem, pays homage to the subset of plus-sized gay men that enjoy superheroes, play video games and wear cute glasses with clever graphic tees.  It’s a pop track, with a big, snappy sound and an infectious melody, that also contains a smooth sultry R&B vibe along with instrumentation that will make listeners feel like they’re sliding into silk sheets.   “We’ve all seen the movies where the nerdy girl is hot, but she doesn’t know it,” says Tom. “She has to take off her glasses and let down her hair for the world to recognize her beauty. I say hell no to all that.   The nerdy bear is already as cute as can be!”  Tom Goss’s “Nerdy Bear” is available on iTunes, Spotify and all major digital platforms.  Its music video is on YouTube.

Digging Up Dorothy is now available on Amazon Prime.

The short film follows a drag queen who stages a protest in a cemetery when she discovers the remains of Hollywood legend Judy Garland are going to be moved. Based on true events, the film’s screenwriter wrote the script after reading an article on Liza Minnelli’s plans to exhume her mother’s remains. “I was all set to walk the red carpet this film festival season,” says Digging Up Dorothy’s screenwriter and lead actor, Darren Stewart-Jones, who plays drag queen Ruby LaRue. “Most of the festivals that the film was accepted into are either cancelled or postponed.” “I just want people to see this movie,” says Stewart-Jones, who founded the Toronto Queer Theatre Festival eight years ago. “The film was a labor of love for me and I was so disappointed when festivals in Philadelphia and Atlanta that planned to show the movie were cancelled. Of course, safety had to come first.”

It will become Gay Days Disco Inferno 2021, and take place Tuesday, June 1, 2021 to Monday, June 7, 2021. We’ll all be ready for a party then.” For additional information contact Chris Manley at Chris@gaydays.com
