Butlers in the Manor celebrates one year of donating home cleanings to local cancer patients through its partnership with nonprofit Cleaning for a Reason. Understanding that a clean home is a healthy home, owner Andrew Durning remains committed to helping cancer patients and their families.

“Twelve years ago, I lost my husband of 20 years to stage 4 lymphoma after a 10-month battle,” said Durning. “We had three young children all under 15 at the time. I know firsthand what the struggle is to keep everything under control. I understand how important help can be and the importance of a clean environment when battling cancer. I love giving back when it counts! Nothing makes me feel better.”

“During this COVID-19 crisis, we are following CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe and to slow the spread of infection by using an EPA-approved disinfectant, wearing masks, gloves, and booties, and social distancing when in a home.”

Since September of 2019, Butlers in the Manor has supported six cancer patients with a total donated value of $1,745 in cleanings.
