Celebrating the achievements made to date while acknowledging the work still to be done, fifty thousand turned out to make history as they marched across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of Sydney WorldPride’s Pride March. The march showcased a powerful international statement of unity and the demand for equality, not only in Australia but for all LGBTQ+ people worldwide. marchers from across the globe went all out, being doused in glitter, dressing in bright colors, waving Pride Flags, and walking from north to south across the bridge. The march marked the final day of Sydney WorldPride, which ran for 17 days, from February 17 to March 5, and incorporated Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras with over 300 events.
