Since 2004, Aqua Foundation For Women has been Florida’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to serving & supporting LGBTQ+ women. As an inclusive nonprofit organization, AQUA embraces all who feel aligned with AQUA’s mission and vision, regardless of their gender identity, presentation, or expression, and proudly welcomes our gender-diverse, transgender, and intersex siblings. To celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, Aqua conducts different programs and events throughout the year. One of these events is the Aqua Affair. This year’s Aqua Affair is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 2 at 7 PM at Fort Lauderdale Beach. The event will benefit the Aqua Scholars Program and aims to give away $60,000 in 2024. Attendees can contribute to this goal by purchasing a ticket to Aqua Affair which will cost $90. Delicious lite bites, an open bar, and entertainment will be offered during the event while attendees enjoy the gorgeous Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal River. We are proud to say that Queer News Tonight’s anchor Bad Papi will be performing during the event along with La Sirenita. Food will be catered by Bubbles & Pearls and DJ Snackdaddy will be taking care of the music. Hotspots Happening Out Television Network is the presenting partner of this event.
