On Sunday, January 28, Downtown Hollywood will host the third annual My Hollywood Pride Street Festival, a vibrant celebration of the South Florida LGBTQ+ community under the theme, ‘Pride Starts Here!’ The main Street Festival event will be co-hosted by Emmy Award-winning News Anchor Craig Stevens from WSVN Ch. 7 along with the anchor for Queer News Tonight and the host of The FayWhat Show, our favorite girl, FayWhat! My Hollywood Pride emerged from the advocacy efforts of the Hollywood LGBTQ+ Council, championing the voices, perspectives, and presence of LGBTQ+ residents in Greater Hollywood. Established in 2019 by local residents, the Council has grown to become a prominent advocacy group with over 700 members. This event serves as a platform for fostering a more diverse and inclusive community. The Street Festival is the last day of the pride which will be concluded with Tea Dance at Karma Lounge. Join the celebration to embrace the rich diversity of the LGBTQ+ community in South Florida. The Street festival is open to all, further information about the pride and the events is available on myhollywoodpride.com.
