Ellen DeGeneres, the former daytime talk show queen, has come back from self-imposed exile with Ellen’s Last Stand…Up tour. However, the humor was tinged with bitterness as she sarcastically bemoaned her perceived ousting from show business. At West Hollywood’s Largo at the Coronet Theater, DeGeneres talked about being exiled from Hollywood twice so far. The first ever was when she came out as gay in the 90s. And now she jokes saying, “Eventually, they’re going to kick me out for a third time because I’m mean, old, and gay.”
