A young woman on r/GayChristians (Reddit) recently posted that her girlfriend dumped her because she felt as if God was condemning her for being gay. She was starting to feel shame for her same-sex attractions. The OP is brokenhearted and can’t understand how someone would sacrifice love for fear-based religion. The OP’s ex still says that she loves and misses her but she also wishes that she wasn’t attracted to other women. The OP is discouraged and asks for advice.
