Acclaimed Cuban guitarist Eddy Balzola and his world fusion band ORIENTE! will perform at The Pride Center at Equality Park on April 26. The concert, part of the “Jammin’ at The Center” initiative, runs from 7-9 PM, with doors opening at 6:45 PM. Balzola, born in Guanabacoa, Cuba, debuted ORIENTE! in New Orleans in the mid-90s, captivating audiences with his Latin Jazz fusion infused with Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, and Brazilian rhythms.

The band has performed at international festivals and shared stages with icons like Celia Cruz, Chaka Khan, and Arturo Sandoval. Joining Balzola are percussionist Yoel Del Sol and bassist Rusty Heck, delivering an electrifying blend of Cuban classics, Swing, and Blues. Tickets cost $25, including two free beverages and parking. “Jammin’ at The Center” is funded by The Our Fund Foundation, supporting LGBTQ initiatives in South Florida.
