On Saturday, June 28, at 2 PM, Thinking Cap Theatre will present a professional staged reading of A Late Snow at the Sunshine Cathedral Center for the Performing Arts. This groundbreaking 1974 comedy by lesbian playwright Jane Chambers follows a college English professor who finds herself trapped in a snowbound cabin with her current lover, her former lover, her very first lover, and her future partner. The play, known for its positive portrayal of lesbian characters, launched Chambers’ career. Tickets are $20 and include a post-show talkback and reception. The event is supported by The Our Fund Foundation, The Community Foundation of Broward County, and Sunshine Cathedral.
