Plot twist at the Kennedy Center! After President Trump’s “anti-woke” takeover and cancellation of all Pride Month events, five bold Democratic Senators pulled off the ultimate queer power move. They secretly hosted a private, invite-only Pride celebration inside the venue itself. Booked as a “talent show,” the event, called Love Is Love, featured the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC, and Hedwig legend John Cameron Mitchell. It was programmed by Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller, who famously yanked his show from the venue in protest earlier this year.
