Kutumba Theatre Project’s “Spy for Spy” And Talk To Playwright Kieron Barry, August 1-3

Fort Lauderdale’s Empire Stage will host the final weekend of the groundbreaking production Spy for Spy from August 1–3. Presented by the acclaimed Kutumba Theatre Project, this East Coast premiere marks the final chance for audiences to experience British playwright Kieron Barry’s award-winning play. The final Friday and Saturday performances will take place on August 1 and 2 at 8 PM, and August 3 at 5 PM. They include a special treat: Barry himself will be in attendance, followed by a talkback session with the cast and director Kim Ehly.

Barry will answer audience questions and share insights into his unique storytelling process. The talkbacks will take place immediately after each show. Spy for Spy is a sharp, funny, and heartfelt tale about the love and lives of two Californians, Molly and Sarah.
