On Monday, October 6, the Sunshine Cathedral and The Our Fund Foundation will host the Sunshine Pride House Anniversary Community Fundraiser Reception at the Cathedral from 5:30 to 7 PM. The event will bring community members together to celebrate the lasting impact of Sunshine Pride House, a safe and inclusive haven for homeless LGBTQ+ youth.
Guests will reflect on how this initiative, made possible through the generosity of Michael Kalb & Dion Westerman and Terry Merlin, has provided emergency housing, mental health services, and educational programming since its opening.
Supporters will hear stories of resilience and learn how their continued generosity will ensure that young people receive the stability and resources they need to thrive.The evening will be guided by Bishop Robert Griffin, Executive Minister at Sunshine Cathedral, and David Jobin, CEO/President of The Our Fund Foundation, as they honor a milestone of hope and community care.
