Jennifer Lopez is stepping into her next era — one that’s glittering with queerness and Latino representation. In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, J.Lo shared how her upcoming film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, is more than any film. She said, “This movie is very personal for me. I have people in my family who are part of the queer community…I know how important it is for them to see characters like that.” With three Latino leads, the film celebrates resilience, humanity, and love that transcends appearances.
The film is based on the 1993 Broadway musical adaptation of the 1976 novel and delves into queer romance. It is already in theaters.
