An Ohio pastor who once called being LGBTQ+ a “health risk” has been charged with child rape. 48-year-old Silas Shelton, pastor of Blanchester Community Church, faces four felony counts, including rape and sexual battery. Police say he assaulted a teenage girl from his congregation between 2019 and this year. This was at the same time as his condemnation of the queer communities danger to American society. He’s pleaded not guilty and is being held on a $2 million bond as the investigation continues. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
