The queens are going Hollywood—and they’re doing it in heels. Stop! That! Train! is officially the first feature film set in the legendary RuPaul’s Drag Race universe, arriving in theaters May 29, 2026. Directed by Adam Shankman, known for queer-fav favorites like Hairspray and Rock of Ages, the movie promises a wild blend of camp, comedy, and drag excellence. Shankman, also beloved as a Rusical choreographer and guest judge, said, “I’ve had the greatest time shooting Stop! That! Train! with some of the most hilarious and game people out there… if you’re not howling during this one, I’m pretty sure you’re made of coal and possibly a descendant of the Grinch family!”

RuPaul Charles stars as President Gagwell, joining the cast to “save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.” Front and center are Ginger Minj as Tess and Jujubee as DeeDee—two train stewardesses who ditch the dreary Stank Rail for the glamorous Glamazonian Express. They’re joined by Symone and Brooke Lynn Hytes as two of the film’s fabulously snobby first-class attendants. With a queer crew behind the scenes and producers including Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, and RuPaul himself, Stop! That! Train! is shaping up to be a herstoric cinematic moment for the Drag Race family.
