Novelist Gregory Maguire told Out, “If there are conversations… they’re not conversations that involve me,” adding he’s sold rights to only one novel and won’t chase more. Still, creators Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman hint at a mystery project. Schwartz said, “We’re actually talking about something… but it’s not Wicked part three or four.”
