In a rare moment of agreement, Marjorie Taylor Greene has criticised Donald Trump after his widely condemned post about the death of filmmaker and LGBTQ+ ally Rob Reiner. Trump wrote on Truth Social that Reiner died due to “a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.” Greene responded on Twitter, saying, “This is a family tragedy, not about politics or political enemies…It’s incredibly difficult and should be met with empathy especially when it ends in murder.” Reiner was a longtime champion of LGBTQ+ equality.
