Author Armistead Maupin is sharing new memories of his friendship with Rock Hudson, decades after the star’s death from AIDS-related complications. In a new video, Maupin recalls meeting Hudson in San Francisco and describes him as a very sweet man. He also joked that Hudson had a “legendarily large penis.” When Maupin felt intimidated, Hudson reassured him that he was just a regular guy. Maupin says Hudson “seduced the world” through kindness and care.
