Anti-trans Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok has publicly challenged the right-wing Twitter account Libs of TikTok for spreading misinformation. After the anti-LGBTQ+ account claimed it had bullied Walz into dropping out of his campaign, a user asked Grok how often the account spreads falsehoods. Grok replied: “Based on various reports, libsoftiktok has faced accusations of misinformation in several cases, especially regarding LGBTQ+ issues and children’s hospitals.” The account has previously been accused of lying by Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and linked to harassment targeting queer communities.
