Queer sports stories are having a well-earned moment, and the next big win is Slo Pitch, a lesbian softball mockumentary produced by Elliot Page’s PageBoy Productions. Set to debut on Crave in 2026, the Canadian series leans into the joy, mess, and comedy that LGBTQ viewers have been craving. Slo Pitch is a 10-episode mockumentary that follows “The Public Lass Brovaries, a queer underdog slo pitch softball team.

The team is thrown into chaos when coach Joanne is dumped by her girlfriend and co-founder of the team. From there, the squad battles “a season of strikeouts, petty rivalries, conservative-politician sponsors, and sexy carwash fundraisers gone wrong,” all while Joanne’s ex joins a rival team. Starring Jess Salgueiro and Emily Hampshire, and backed by PageBoy’s mission to champion underrepresented voices, Slo Pitch is shaping up to be a home run for queer TV.
