Fans of Heated Rivalry have a new project to anticipate. Creator Jacob Tierney will write, direct, and executive-produce Alexander, a new period drama for Netflix. Based on the novel The Golden Mean by Annabel Lyon, the series explores the relationship between Alexander the Great and his tutor Aristotle. As the official description reads, the story begins as the “Athenian empire is crumbling… amid palace intrigue, forbidden love, brutal war and ruthless ambitions.” Executive producers include Brendan Brady, Jason Bateman, and Michael Costigan of Aggregate Films. A release date has not yet been announced.
