Trump–Epstein Statue Appears Overnight on Washington’s National Mall, Drawing Attention

A 12-foot statue depicting President Donald Trump embracing his former associate Jeffrey Epstein appeared overnight on the National Mall, drawing attention from visitors and officials. The installation, titled “King of the World,” references the iconic embrace between Jack and Rose from the 1997 film Titanic, played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Alongside the statue were ten large banners describing it as a “banner year” for Trump and Epstein.

The phrase appears to reference recently released federal investigative files connected to Epstein, in which Trump’s name reportedly appears more than 38,000 times. A plaque at the site reads: “The tragic love story between Jack and Rose was built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches. This monument honors the bond between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, a friendship seemingly built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches.”

The mention of nude sketches may refer to a drawing included in a signed birthday letter to Epstein in which Trump called him “a terrific guy.” Trump later said the letter was fake.
