RuPaul’s Drag Race star Victoria “Porkchop” Parker has been hospitalized after a severe intestinal infection. The performer said she fell ill after “preparing a frozen hamburger patty from a major retailer.” She was then rushed to Antelope Valley Medical Center and diagnosed with Hyponatremia, Acute Kidney Injury, Atrial Fibrillation, and Hypertension.
Discharged March 8, she is relearning to walk and undergoing therapy. A GoFundMe created to take care of Porkchop’s medical needs has raised nearly $5,000, with World of Wonder donating $1,500.
