President Donald Trump is facing backlash after posting a graphic murder video on his Truth Social platform, showing a woman being beaten to death with a hammer. The 20-second surveillance clip captures the April 3 killing of Nilufa Easmin outside a gas station in Fort Myers, Florida. Authorities say Easmin, a clerk and mother, was attacked by Rolbert Joachin, a 40-year-old Haitian man now charged with murder and held without bond. He said the clip is terrible, but he has “an obligation to put it up so that people can see what Democrats are protecting.”

The post was used to push his immigration agenda, including calls to end Temporary Protected Status for Haitians, while criticizing former President Joe Biden, Democrats, and federal judges. The Department of Homeland Security also weighed in, blaming prior immigration policies for the crime. The White House has not clarified why the explicit video was shared or whether it was reviewed beforehand. The post has raised broader concerns, as most major platforms restrict graphic violent content. Truth Social’s own guidelines prohibit such material.
