The Electronic Frontier Foundation is launching the second season of its ‘LGBT Q-and-A’ digital safety initiative. Debuting last year on the TikTok and Instagram accounts of EFF, the project provides a direct, crowd-sourced lifeline for LGBTQ+ individuals facing online censorship, doxxing, or targeted surveillance. This season, users can also submit on Reddit or even message the EFF anonymously on its website. Users submit pressing digital rights questions regarding dating app safety, data privacy, and online harassment. EFF experts will provide actionable guidance throughout the month, helping vulnerable users protect their identities and maintain total control over their personal digital footprints.
