Forty Love is a gay tennis romance that is set to premiere in French theaters on November 25. The first-look image was unveiled as the film launched its international sales campaign. Beckham stars as a charismatic new rival to tennis champion Sacha Gallo, played by Paul Kircher. As Sacha trains with his father to win a major tournament in Paris, Beckham’s character challenges not only his game, but also his understanding of competition, ambition and himself.
Directed by fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti in his feature directorial debut, Forty Love also stars Guillaume Canet, Benjamin Voisin and Catherine Deneuve, with a score by 070 Shake and Johan Lenox. Romeo Beckham, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, previously pursued both soccer and tennis, training briefly with Andy Murray before returning to soccer. The film marks a new chapter in his career, following years as a model and brand ambassador.
