This week Cologne’s annual Pride parade, AKA Christopher Street Day, made history with over 1.2 million attendees. Featuring 60,000 participants and 90 vibrant floats, the event celebrated diversity and unity under the theme “For human rights. Many. Together. Strong.” The festivities, named after New York’s Stonewall Inn, kicked off with stirring speeches from German politicians on the Deutzer Bridge. The pride featured high-profile participants, including Tom and Bill Kaulitz of the music group Tokio Hotel.
