For decades, Our Fund has served as one of South Florida’s most trusted philanthropic organizations, raising and distributing resources to nonprofits that create meaningful, measurable change. As a community foundation focused on LGBTQ+ equality and social justice, Our Fund connects generous donors with organizations addressing urgent needs, including health care, housing, food security, youth services, senior support, education and civil rights.
Our Fund’s mission is to inspire philanthropy and strengthen the LGBTQ+ community by supporting organizations and initiatives that advance equality, dignity and opportunity for all. At the center of Our Fund’s work is its grantmaking. Over the years, the organization has supported a wide range of nonprofits, including Broward House, which provides housing, care coordination and supportive services for people living with HIV; SunServe, a leading provider of counseling, youth programs, senior services and family support; and the Pride Center at Equality Park, a vital community hub offering health, wellness, cultural and social programs.
Our Fund has also helped organizations such as the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Compass Community Center, the SMART Ride, Food For Life Network, Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options, and other local and regional nonprofits.
