Fundraiser for Dan Osmialowski – Mr Ramrod 2008
On Sunday, September 7, 2008, The Ramrod placed the winners medallions on the new Mr. Ramrod 2008, Dan Osmialowski; 1st Runner Up, Joe Watkins; and 2nd Runner Up Tim Christopher.
The emcee was Russell Matheney, Ramrod bartender, MC and community activist. The judging panel included head judge Scott Melton, Mr. Ramrod 2007, International Mr. Leather, Second Runner Up 2008; Michael Edges, International Mr. Leather 2005; Sir Top and Slave Bonnie, Southeast Master/Slave 2006 and producers of Beyond Leather; Ken Feigle, Mr. Texas Leather 2003; and Max MaKievich, Mr. Camp Mars 2007.
Dan was introduced to the leather community at the Bound South Leather Masked Ball in Ft. Lauderdale. Over the past several years, he has done volunteer work with Cross Roads Food Bank and Volunteer Broward, donating his time and energy to help at numerous fundraising events. For the past four years he has spent his Thanksgivings passing out dinners to needy families who could not afford to celebrate the holidays. Professionally, Dan has worked as a fraud investigator for a national bank helping locate fraud rings both locally and internationally and is now working as the Director of Marketing for Broward Institute, a Ft. Lauderdale based rehabilitation center and nursing home.
Come help Dan raise much needed money so he can go to Chicago and represent Florida at the International Mr. Leather contest. His benefits are on Saturday May 16th at Ramrod from 10 pm to 2 am and on Sunday May 17th at Jackhammer T from 8 pm to midnight. Dan will be raffling off baskets, have silent auction items, etc.
