November is Trans Awareness Month, and there are many events going on to celebrate and love our Trans brothers and sisters. Check out some of these local events:

“Majesty Girls” Film Documentary Screening – Thursday, November 16th – 6:30 p.m.

A documentary that brings a spotlight to Trans women who have accomplished and overcome self-doubt, discrimination and transgender violence. Panel discussion with the director. Refreshments to follow.

TDOR Observance – Monday, November 20th – 6:30 p.m.

This worldwide annual candle lighting observance honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender bigotry and violence.
