Bear Weekend in Orlando – This weekend brings thousands of Bears in from all over the country and world to Orlando! If you’re a bear/cub or chaser then you are going to be one happy camper this weekend, especially if you like the word free! The Parliament House features special guest Bruce Vilanch, who will have two shows in The Footlight Theater Friday and Sunday at 8 pm with tickets only $10 for those special shows! All courtyard events are free! The Parliament House hotel is booked for Friday, October 16th and Saturday, October 17th (BC3 Weekend), but there are a few rooms left for Thursday, October 15th and Sunday, October 18th. On Sunday, October 18th Revolution Nightclub presents the Bear Bust Farewell Party starring national recording artist Pepper Mashay singing her greatest hits “Dive in the Pool,” “Lost Yo Mind,” “I’ve Got My Pride” and more.
Other Events
On Thursday, October 15th Revolution Nightclubs college night presents Tops vs. Bottoms where all tops must wear black and all bottoms must wear white. There will be a $100 prize for the sexiest white or black attire. The night stars DJs Joanie and Irene Pardo.
On Friday, October 16th the Sawmill Campgrounds will present the cult movie “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” and a live “Rocky Horror” production.
Georgie’s Alibi in St. Pete presents national recording artist Pepper Mashay singing her smash hit “Dive in the Pool” and many more on Friday, October 16th at 11 pm.
Steve Moss’s popular Saturdays at G-Bar will star circuit DJ/Producer Alyson Calagna on Saturday, October 17th. The night will also feature a CD release party for Shakira’s new album “She Wolf.”
The Tampa Bay Business Guild will be holding a Business Expo on Sunday, October 18th from 11 am to 5 pm. The Tampa Bay Business Guild began over 20 years ago to provide an environment for business owners and local organizations on both sides of Tampa Bay to build an alternative community based on shared goals, friendship and trust. Get Well
This past week there were two sad accidents. Judy B. Goode took a bad fall at her home and broke both her wrists. The doctor says she will have both wrists in casts for at least 5 weeks. In the true spirit of the show must go on, Judy & Paul both are still performing every Monday at Streetcar Charlie’s. On the same day as Judy’s accident Mathieu Stanoch, the set designer for Steam – G.BAR- Social, took a nasty fall off a ladder. Unfortunately there wasn’t a hottie to catch him!
