Last Thursday was the 29th anniversary of Johnny’s in Fort Lauderdale which brought out lots of dignitaries for the VIP party. Congrats to owner Sean David and original owner Johnny Moses on the continued success of this iconic bar. Halloween night brought south Florida 2 charity events. The first was the 3rd annual Wicked Manors down the street of Wilton Drive from 7 pm till midnight. The contest was hosted once again by Misty Eyez and I for one have to give her props for controlling the night with ease and professionalism. Thousands lined the streets of Wilton Drive for what has become one of my favorite Fort Lauderdale events. The second charity event was the annual SAVE Dade Halloween party, this year entitled Asylum. This party had 3 DJs, a costume contest with some of Miami’s most outrageous costumes and lots of hot men. Congrats to the organizers of both events for making South Florida shine. In addition, all the bars seemed to have packed them in. Let’s hope this is the start to a fabulous season!
