Centaur Entertainment releases the 11th edition of their now famous White Party CD which features DJ David Knapp. David Said “I am thrilled every time I get to create the White Party CD, mainly because the project was my baby and harkens back to my South Beach roots. With so many interesting styles out there, and with pop music now greatly influenced by the dance music we DJ’s have been playing forever, this project was especially fun. ” He goes on to explain ” Zoe Badwi’s Freefallin’ is very White Party…..an energetic uplifting track! One of my favorite, upbeat pop songs out right now is Katy Perry’s Firework, and Paulette’s version gives it a great dance feel. I also loved being able to include versions of Commander and Only Girl (In The World) on the CD. Nowadays, I can’t imagine a DJ set without some Dave Aude, and his new track Dancin’ Circles is a perfect example of his skills. Tony Moran and Ultra Nate working together? When I heard this, I thought the idea was stellar. Their track “Destination” is awesome….really bringing out the best in them. I really like the energy of this Wawa mix! For my sets, Whole World Party has been a perfect hit from the summer and beyond, as has been the hot Latin Dirty Salsa (another hot Cube Guys remix)! I also loved Crystal Waters on When People Come Together for the same reason. The last part of the CD gets a little more classic in the beats and circuit style, with Deep Influence working their magic on a new Kathy Brown vocal (Feel The Music). Edson creates a great team-up with the veteran and hit mistress Jeanie Tracy, and again with one of my favorite, very uplifting performers, Cyon Flare. I was so excited to feature Cyon, as well as the masters on the mix, DJ Alexander and Mark VDH. I am equally psyched to close out the CD with yet another excellent, pumping Chad Jack remix of the Rhythm DB song Stars. I sincerely hope you all enjoy this offering!”
The CD is available for purchase at White Party welcome center starting Wednesday, November 24th, on the Centaur website (CentaurMusic.com) on Monday, November 29th and won’t be available elsewhere until Tuesday, December 7th.
