GaYBOR District Honors 2 New Appointed Ambassadors
The GaYBOR District Coalition have appointed its first two new GaYBOR Ambassadors. Brenda Holloway of the Hampton Inn & Suites and Peter Clark, publisher of Hotspots Magazine were bestowed the honor of becoming GaYBOR Ambassadors. The Ambassador position is a high honored appointment for the goodwill they have promoted and accomplished in the GLBTA community and especially acknowledging the ambitious positive efforts of the GaYBOR District in historic Ybor City.

The Blue Dog Bistro is new to Centro Ybor! Located in the former Rock-n-Sports location. This New Orleans-style Bistro is full of the spice, smells, music and magic of New Orleans! There are new items including Voodoo Shrimp, Gator Poor Boys and much more on the menu. The live saxophone player music puts Cajun rhythms in the Spirit of New Orleans. GaYBOR Easter Bonnet Bar Hop/Crawl
Get your tickets now at MC Film. The first prize for best “Over The Top Easter Bonnet” will be a flat screen TV donated by Florida Entertainment Group. The Annual Super Fun Bar Hop/Crawl will start 4 p.m. at The Reservoir Bar. There will be more than 15 stops on this crazy adventure. People from all over the state come to this unique Spring Charity Event. The last stop is Bradley’s on 7th where Miss Joey Brooks will host a Wild Birthday Celebration for Miss Esme Russell.

Shere Schiller proves it’s all true – 60 is the new 40! Shere’s radiant beauty, class and youthful, friendly charm makes her one of Ybor’s favorite people. The theme of the birthday celebration party was ‘Garden Hats & Bring your Pets’ and it could only be described as “THE GARDEN PARTY of the YEAR!” The music performed by professional band talents mixed in with karaoke singers. In the true style of a Queen & Diva, Esme Russell is celebrating her birthday this whole month and so she should! There are celebrations all over Tampa Bay aka “The Kingdom of Esme.” The Hamburger Mary’s Sunday Brunch Gospel Party was beyond WOW. Esme’s parents and family were there with many close friends. The show included Legendary Diva, Diva Darcel Stevens form Orlando’s Parliament House and local singing wonder, Iman.
