lgbt-events-south-florida-1A week ago Tuesday was the annual Summer Fashion/Swimwear shoot for Hotspots Magazine. This year we shot in downtown Miami and featured the men of Miami’s bars. It was a long and exhausting day, but in the end I think you will all agree it was worth it. Check out the feature in this week’s magazine! On Friday evening was the 3rd annual Silver Party at Living Room Nightclub which this year was hosted by Pamela Anderson. That night they also celebrated Mark Lowe’s (co-owner) 103rd birthday. The night featured an incredible step and repeat as you entered the club, fabulous decorations and a free body paint artist. Both DJ Maximus and Pride were turning their rooms out to the packed crowds. Saturday night my good friend, Milancita celebrated her 4th anniversary at Discotekka. Unfortunately I could not make it as I had to cover 2 events in Broward, but I heard lots of well wishers came out to show their love to one of Miami’s favorites!

lgbt-events-south-florida-2I first went to Bill’s for the 3rd annual Lets Go Play Gay Day Orlando pre-party which featured a Pride Factory fashion show featuring the models of Fabscout, performances by Nikki, Misty, Miss Kitty, Nikkay and Nicole, a 50/50 raffle for Broward House and Typhoon Lagoon ticket giveaways.

lgbt-events-south-florida-3 Afterwards I headed over to The Manor for the 13th anniversary of Noche Latina Florida which packed the Ivy Lounge and patio and the Windsor room all night long. The night featured performances by Viva Mirage (Miss Noche Latina 2011), a live performance by Josue Santiago (Mr. Noche Latina 2007), Latin Band Tropical Dreams in the Windsor and Latin Recording artist Tony Swing, who rocked the house. Congrats to The Manor and Noche Latina for a fabulous anniversary celebration.
