As the only gay bar and restaurant on Ocean Drive for more than 24 years, it is no wonder that the Palace has become a mainstay for tourists and locals alike, who enjoy delectable bites, stiff drinks, and, of course, Palace’s fabulously frocked fellas! You can’t be the longest running gay bar without evolving with the community and changing things up a bit, which is why as of last week the Palace will be placing their regular menu on the back burner to serve a new limited time menu dedicated to the traditional summer BBQ, featuring bulging burgers, succulent steaks, and smoky & sweet barbecued chicken.

The Palace’s culinary team will be preparing fresh dishes right off the grill for diners looking to tantalize their taste buds with some old favorites like a succulent New York Strip, Grilled and Blackened Shrimp, Pork, Chicken, or Shrimp Shish Kabobs, the famous Palace Burger, and of course, Palace’s new signature BBQ Chicken Breast, among many other barbequed favorites. Each dish will come with a variety of accompaniments that will put your grandmother’s picnic dishes to shame, including potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob, grilled asparagus and many more.

Rounding out their new Sizzling Summer BBQ Menu are The Palace’s delicious desserts: mango guava cheesecake and the chocolate bomb, which includes three different layers of chocolate mousse – milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate.

Without a doubt, the Palace’s infamous drag shows, which now take place EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK, will feature the Palace drag divas performing some of your favorite summer jams – all on the sidewalk of Ocean Drive for your entertainment! Monday nights you can catch Tiffany Fantasia at 7 p.m. for the Palace Drag Race; Tuesdays, beginning at 7 p.m., Daisy Deadpetals hosts an evening with the stars during Palace’s weekly Dining with the Stars dinner party; Wednesdays at 8 p.m. is all about a one-woman show as Noel Leon showcases her Broadway skills during Elite Wednesdays; Thursdays nights at 6 p.m. Missy Meyakie hits the sidewalk to hosts Stiletto Thursdays, while Friday nights are filled with over the top entertainment by TP Lords and friends beginning at 6 p.m.

There’s no better way to spend your weekend then at the Palace after a day of sun and sand on 12th Street Beach, which is why the Saturday afternoon show hosted by Tiffany Fantasia at 6 p.m. is always packed. And Sundays are filled with non-stop entertainment, beginning with Brunchic (two seatings: 11:30 a.m. & 2 p.m.), hosted by Noel Leon and featuring bottomless mimosas and champagne with special performances by Shanaya Bright. By 4 p.m., the gorgeous and the nearly naked flock to the Palace for the weekly Sunday T-Dance complete with hot beats by local DJs and performances by the Palace cast at 6 p.m.!

So come on down to the Palace to enjoy its new Sizzling Summer Menu and delicious cocktails, and get ready for a little boot, scoot, and boogie at the only gay bar and restaurant on Ocean Drive!
