Week 2 of All Stars had the girls in character with Momma (Vicki Lawrence) and doing their own original comedy. My girl Latrice and her partner Manilla were in the bottom 2 couples and I had to hold my breath, but then Latrice turned out the Lip Synch for your life as only she can! Unfortunately that meant the incredibly original Tammie Brown and la loca herself, Nina Flowers, were eliminated. It was a pleasure to sit down with the 2 of them for this exclusive Hotspots interview:

1) How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race?

Tammie – I have been able to connect with fans all around the world and now I am a lot more relaxed. I am much more comfortable with who I am.

Nina – It’s been amazing! The opportunity to showcase my talent on national television has opened so many doors.

2) How exciting was it to get called back for All Stars?

Tammie – It’s pretty good, because I didn’t want to be sitting at home thinking about how come I am not on the show. I feel like I deserved to be on there. Wake up LOGO channel, use me more.

Nina – Insane! I feel very lucky and privileged to be one of the chosen ones to be a part of this experience.

3) Whose fault was it that you were eliminated and why?

Tammie – The producers because they want to hear good TV and for them good TV is slander.

Nina – I have no one to blame but the producers. They’re the ones that have the last word on who stays and who leaves. Remember, this is TV. So it’s really about who brings drama to the table. I’m not into Drama. I’m into the art, and so was my team partner. That’s why we picked each other.

4) Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?

Tammie – Raven, because I really like her although she has a nasty mouth.

Nina – I would love to see one of my Latina sisters win the title: Yara Sofia or Alexis Mateo. They are beautiful and so talented. Latinas always bring quality to the show, so I would love to see them taking it to the next level.

5) What’s ahead?

Tammie – I am working on “Holiday Sparkle,” which is my annual holiday show in California, which this year I plan on taking on the road. I am also working on my live concert; Tammie Brown Musical Review. In addition, I am working on my sophomore album, Hotskux! And the music videos that go along with it. My music will also be in Spanish this time.

I am also trying to work on Tammie Brown merchandise, but this cost a lot of money. If there are any investors out there, CONTACT me!

In addition to all of this I model and do commercials. I am propelling and am open to all exciting opportunities! I am a multi faceted artist with many mediums.
Nina – To me, the sky’s the limit. I am working really hard to take my music career all the way to the top, so you will see me soon remixing music for the best of the best.

Aside from being a Drag Entertainer, I’m a DJ. My passion is music, and I intend to do anything necessary to become successful in the industry.
