Last Thursday, Rumors started their new show, Dont Try It Thursday’s cabaret to a very busy crowd. The show stars my friend Alandra Matthews along with Melissa Morgan and Sasha Lords and special guest Jasmine Rose Dumant. I took Friday night off and stayed in bed resting (yes, by myself). On Saturday, The Manor presented RuPaul’s Drag Race Winner Raja live on stage with a meet and greet afterwards. The crowds were out in support of the season 3 winner and she stayed until everyone spoke to her. On Sunday was The Celebration of Life for my friend Richard Blaise Cimoch at The Sunshine Cathedral. Many important people showed up to honor Richard, who was a pillar of this community. After the Celebration, a Tree was donated in his honor and was planted in the garden at the Sunshine Cathedral. Later on Flip Flops Dockside Eatery presented Fort Lauderdale’s only T-Dance on the Intacoastal, which takes place their 1st Sunday of every month from 4-7pm. Over at Off The Hookah, the cast of Life’s A Drag had a special hostess in Alexia Echevarria from Bravo’s the Real Housewives of Miami. They also were taping for the show that night so everyone who was there has a chance of being on an Episode…Do I hear a SAG card (LOL). Also Sunday night Twist had a fundraiser for Miami Beach Gay Pride hosted by Marco Perez and starred Adora and lots of her friends.
