WHSF-bannerWHSF-pic1Last week there was so much going on with Miami Beach Gay Pride that I could not talk about the successful Friday and Saturday night official partyies: on Friday Mova had their annual Block Party and Saturday was Super-Urge and I will let the pics do the talking.

The day after Miami Pride, the Village Pub had their monthly Brazilian Nights party with a Samba dancer to kick it into gear. Thursday night was all about Drag as I went to Rumors for their Don’t Try It Thursdays starring Alandra Matthews, Melissa Morgan, and Sasha Lords and their special guest Velvet LeNore. Afterwards, WHSF-pic2I headed down to Boom for the Royale Starr Court which was produced by Latrice Royale and All Starr Management and starred some of the RuPaul girls as well as some local favorites. The club was packed and Latrice and her girls turned it! On Saturday, Boom once again had a big party, Studio 54, with phenomenal performances and great music. On Sunday, Smarty Pants had their annual Chili Cook-off; this year they had 12 entries. Congrats to the winner Sandy Nieto and an additional congrats to Nikki Adams who won the raffle for the Las Vegas trip. Later that night, I headed over to Boardwalk to see the Bears taking over. Lions and Tiger there were none of, but bears were a plenty. It was a fun night!
