WHSF InsideOn Thursday Deliver the Dream presented the first annual Red, Hot and in Style, A Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction for the LGBT Community at the Manor. It was a very successful event raising thousands of dollars for needy families. Friday night I went down to the Adrienne Arsht to catch 8cho, the sensation from Argentina and was very entertained.  Afterwards I went to the New Mova Brickell for Milancita’s new VIP Fridays. What a beautiful location with a view of Downtown that is just stunning. DJ Mike Gentile was amazing and very HOT to look at as well! Afterwards I went over to Wet Bar to see Marytrini, and her invited guests and to hear some Latin tunes. Saturday night saw two big events in South Florida. In Miami was the MDGLCC’s annual gala this year entitled The Yellow Gala held at the Hilton Downtown. The gala was packed with not one empty seat. Congrats to Steve, Jorge and their team for once again producing an amazing event! In Fort Lauderdale was the annual Stonewall Parade down Wilton Drive. WHSF StonewallThe Stonewall Riots, scheduled for release on the 44th anniversary of the infamous New York City riots this June, centers around the events and culture leading up to the riots, the incident itself and its historical significance as the genesis of the Gay Pride Movement. The 32-page comic book is written by Michael Troy and illustrated by David T. Cabrera.

WHSF cooperPolitical Power: Anderson Cooper” features an illustrated version of his life story. The comic book focuses on the life and career of celebrated CNN newsman Anderson Cooper.  Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, the silver fox chose to follow his passion, journalism, with a vengeance. Written by comic book biographer, Michael Troy (Female Force: RuPaul) with art by Jason Moser. There are two covers for this comic book; one by Jason Moser and the other by David T. WHSF jacksonActor singer, and songwriter Cheyenne Jackson (“Behind The Candelabra,” “30 Rock,” “Glee”) will release “I’m Blue, Skies”, his first full-length album of original music on June 25. Produced by Thomas “Tawgs” Salter and The ELEV3N, the album was co-written by Mr. Jackson with SIA, Stevie Aiello, Chris Braide, and Charlotte Sometimes. The buoyantly uplifting ‘I’m Blue, Skies’ includes 12 songs that deftly blend folk music’s heartfelt storytelling with a pop music beat and sensibility. From the very first track, listeners immediately encounter the power of Mr. Jackson’s vocal range, with soaring vocals that pay tribute to his Broadway roots, while infusing a uniquely personal and fresh sound to his music. The album includes three songs co-written with friend and music superstar SIA, and the duet “You Get Me” with Charlotte Sometimes from NBC’s The Voice.

Cheyenne Jackson has one of the most diverse careers in entertainment as he has starred in a dozen Broadway productions, and has appeared in numerous films and television shows. In Concert, he has sold out Carnegie Hall twice, and last year made his solo concert debut at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra. In 2010, Mr. Jackson released the critically acclaimed studio album “The Power of Two” with Michael Feinstein. In 2012 he released four singles through Sony/ATV/Hickory records. In addition to performing, Mr. Jackson has an ongoing songwriting contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing, and he continues to write music for himself and other artists.
