Nephew of the Week: Kyle O’Donnell

The next time you’re out at a club and hear a group of people laughing and having a great time…chances are that Kyle is there. In GaYBOR/Ybor City there are two fun beaches. GaYBOR Beach at the Quarters and South Beach at the Box Factory. On a beautiful day you will find Kyle at South Beach keeping the party going!

It Was an Irish Weekend!

The BIG St. Patrick’s Day Parade was this past Saturday in Ybor City.  Did you know that the GaYBOR District Coalition was the only openly LGBT group in a St. Patrick’s Parade east of the Mississippi?

You Just Can’t Make This Stuff Up!

At the old Suncoast Resort, there were these two guys from Sarasota who drove everybody nuts. They were pain-in-the-butt whiners and complainers about everything. Then management noticed that every time after they would check out there was a problem with the shower in their room. One day they checked out and were still at the bar when a call came into the manager from housekeeping. There in their room was a sex toy still attached to the shower head. (Use your imagination!) The manager took it down and put it in a big clear plastic bag. Strolling up to them at the bar, the manager said in a very loud, clear voice “Here, you forgot this!” The couple replied, “Oh, that is not ours.” The manager said, “Yes it is.” Then he put it down and walked away. It was one of the funniest things we have ever seen.
