The Orlando Gay Chorus is spreading joy this holiday season by presenting a holiday concert and giving back to the community at the same time. Their holiday concert, titled “Naughty and Nice,” can be seen twice; the first performance will be on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. and the second performance is a matinee, on Sunday, December 14 at 4:30 p.m. The Plaza Live (425 N. Bumby Ave., Orlando) is the host venue for both concert performance dates.
The Orlando Gay Chorus presents a holiday concert with songs of the winter holidays, alongside some mischievous elves who are looking to cause trouble for Santa and all the people patiently waiting for Christmas Day! These performances will satisfy any concertgoer who wants to see and hear the “naughty” and the “nice” at this festive time of year.
The Orlando Gay Chorus will be donating toys to Toys for Tots at these concert dates. The Chorus is the longest-running Toys for Tots campaign in Central Florida, having donated gifts for 24 years and counting. Last year, the Chorus donated 120 bicycles to Toys for Tots, making the holiday season brighter for many underprivileged children. This year, they hope to donate even more gifts. There will also be a silent auction, the proceeds of which will go toward purchasing bicycles and other gifts for children this holiday season.
Tickets cost $25 if purchased online at orlandogaychorus.org or through a chorus member. Tickets are $30 if purchased at the door. Season subscriptions are also available online at a 25% discount. Happy holidays!
