What's Hot South Florida

Alyson Thomas produced the 16th annual Carolinas Continental pageant a week ago Monday at the beautiful Jazz Club inside of the Deauville Beach Resort. This was 4 pageants in one as Alyson crowned a Miss, a Plus a Mister and an Elite. IN actuality the pageants were so close that she will be sending multiple contestants. Congrat to Alyson on 16 years and also for once again having a wonderful pageant. Speaking of Pageants on Friday night Latrice Royale Inc. presented Miss Pride South Florida 2015 at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center. There were 6 contestants and in the end congrats goes to 1st alternate Noel Leon, to your new Miss Pride South Florida Tanisha Cassidine, and of course to Latrice, her hubby Christopher and Chelsea for producing such a great pageant. On Saturday, during the SoBe Food & Wine Fest Chef Art Smith and Chef Duff presented 101 Gay Weddings at the James Hotel. Later that night was the monthly Wilton Manors Artwalk as well as the Pride Center at Equality Park’s annual Evening in Paradise at Richardson Historic Manor House. This year’s theme was Mykonos, Gods and Goddesses. And raised thousands of much needed dollars for the Pride Center. Saturday night Hunters Nightclub presented their monthly WOOF! Fort Lauderdale party and the Manor featured a Carnaval themed event with Samba dancers and Brazillian performances. Sunday was National Margarita Day, presented by El Jimador Tequila up and down Wilton Drive from 2 to 6pm. It was a fun event produced by Jason Tamanini. A special shout out to Javier (Jimmy the Luchador) who looked extra sexy with his hairy chest! WHSF_Preamble
