Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride 2017 at Score on April 3

It’s that time again, when Miami Beach’s talented, prettiest and fiercest “Queens” put it all on the line for the “T’’ – the tiara that is! A new Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride will be crowned to rule the LGBTQ kingdom, friends and allies on Monday, April 3 at the 5th Annual Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride Pageant and Silent Auction, benefitting Miami Beach Gay Pride. The pageant will be held at Score Nightclub(1437 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach) beginning at 8 p.m. with the pageant starting promptly at 9 p.m.

 

Hosted by Peter J. Morales, Tiffany T. Fantasia (Miss MBGP 2013), TP Lords (Miss MBGP 2014) and Athena Dion (Miss MBGP 2015), the Pageant will mesmerize guests as the contestants take to the stage serving face, body and brains to compete for the 2017 Miami Beach Gay Pride crown being passed down from the reigning Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride, Kalah Mendoza. Presiding over the door will be Kitty Meow aka Shawn Palacious and keeping things moving to just the right beat will be DJ Sushiman Lords aka Brad Wofford.

 

“I had no idea winning Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride 2016 would be this much fun; it has been a fabulous year,” said Mendoza. “These ladies better bring it on April 3 because I have no problem keeping my crown one more year – it looks fierce right where it is – on my head!” 

 

Along with being judged for their all-around “fabulocity,” pageant contestants will compete in the categories of Presentation (show your pride), Swimwear, Evening Gown, Q&A, and Talent.

 

Contestant Entry Fee: $125 (Pre-Registered) / $175 (2 Days Prior)

 

The Grand Prize winner will receive the title of Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride 2017, the Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride Crown redesigned by Joey Rolon from Funky Sexy Couture along with a matching jewelry set of a ring and earrings designed by Michael Egnor from Beauty & Elegance Designs & Tittle, $1,000 in cash and $1,000 in prizes, including a photo shoot by local photographer; an interview with NBC 6 in the Mix with Roxanne Vargas; a Meet & Greet & Photo-op with this year’s Pride Marshals at the VIP Pride Reception at W South Beach (2201 Collins Ave, Miami Beach) on Friday, April 7; participation in the parade and introduction from the Grandstand Stage; a chance to perform on the Main Stage on Sunday, April 9; and the opportunity to emcee 2018 Miami Beach Gay Pride festivities.

 

Along with the pageant, there will be a silent auction fundraiser where guests are invited to bid on gift certificates, spa packages and merchandise provided by local businesses.

 

Tickets can be purchased at MissMBGP2017.brownpapertickets.com. Advance tickets are $20 for General Admission; $250 for advance table bottle service package for a party of four; $350 for advance VIP table bottle service package (closest to the stage) for a party of four. All advanced purchases must be made 24 hours in advance of the event. Must be 21 and over and provide valid ID at the door for admittance. One hundred percent of ticket sales and proceeds from cocktail sales will be donated to Miami Beach Gay Pride.
