McQueen the Movie (documentary), tells the story of the iconic and sometimes controversial fashion designer Alexander McQueen.  Even for someone, like myself, who is not a fashionista, this personal look at the extraordinary life, career and artistry of Lee Alexander McQueen was fascinating and I learned a lot. Through exclusive interviews with his closest friends and family including some with recovered archives, (Alexander McQueen, Gary James McQueen, Janet McQueen, Dana Thomas, Naomi Campbell, Grace Jones, Charlie Rose, André Leon Talley and the recently deceased star of the Ladies of London, Annabelle Neilson who was the onetime muse of McQueen), McQueen is an authentic celebration and thrilling portrait of an inspired yet tortured fashion visionary. Directed by Ian Bonhôte and co-directed/written by Peter Ettedgui.

For anyone who is a fashionista or just loves watching and knowing about fashion this is a must see. This movie is worth watching just for the archive footage of some of his iconic runways.
