“War On The Catwalk” Contest:

It was a pleasure to once again sit down with The Vivienne for this exclusive Hotspots interview:

The last time we chatted was right after you won the inaugural season of Drag Race UK. How has the reception been in the UK and worldwide?

It’s been absolutely crazy, as I have received so much love. It has completely changed my life.

The same year you won Drag Race UK, you married your partner David. Tell us about that?

In December, one month after I won Drag Race, we got married. It was quite a monumental year.

Since you are touring, how hard is it for you to be without him?

Not hard at all, as he is with me on the tour (The Vivienne then yells to David to say hello, and he does).

The tour that the cast did directly after the finale of the inaugural season of Drag Race UK with Alyssa Edwards was so much fun to watch. How was it to film?

Being able to tour was a dream. Alyssa was actually at the War on the Catwalk show last night and it reminded me how much I love her. She is an enigma in drag. I want to do a character study of her one day. She is such an inspiration and I absolutely adore her.

Who are you still close with from the show and who are you the closest with?

Most of the cast are still close. We don’t get to see each other as much as we would like, but Baga I are the closest.

Your Donald Trump impersonation from the Snatch Game is one of the best in Drag Race History. How did you come up with it and have you gotten a lot of gigs from it?

I voiced Donald Trump on a BBC documentary, so I am officially a voice over artist now. However, now I have kind of put him to bed for obvious reasons. It did me well as impersonating Donald Trump put a few pounds in the bank for me.

How did it feel to get the call to appear on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, The Winners Season, especially since you were the only winner from outside the US?

That was insane as we were lying in bed at 2 or 3 in the morning when the phone rang, and the first words were offering me the season. I immediately said yes. It was scary and nerve wracking, but I thought of it as a great business opportunity, and I was right as it has opened so many doors outside of the UK for me.

Tell us about the experience filming All Stars?

Thank God it was that group of girls as I truly believe it was meant to be us. We all got so close and have stayed close. The stars just aligned correctly.

Describe yourself in 3 (non-curse) words?

Polished, stupid, and insane.

David, can you describe The Vivienne in 3 words?

Fabulous, crazy, and wild.

What do you do for fun?

Theme parks, vacations and theater. Anything that is escapism.

The current tour you are on, “Murray and Peter’s War on the Catwalk,” is traveling all over the states. How is that going and are you excited to be coming to South Florida?

This is the best tour I have ever been a part of, as it is a fantastic group of girls. I am really excited to come to Florida, but really upset as we don’t have a day off and I cannot go to any of the theme parks.

What does the future hold?

So much more TV. As soon as I get back to England, I start filming a new TV Show and after that’s lots more touring in the states. I also wrote my own comedy show. Just everything I love to do. I couldn’t be more blessed!
