Get ready for a special Outshine Film Festival Show premiere that will be exclusively broadcasted at 12:01 am Friday on Queer News Tonight. Electrifying, must-see films from emerging and established LGBTQ+ filmmakers will be screened at the 25th Miami edition of OUTshine Film Festival. The 2023 festival will take place on April 20th to April 30th. In-person screenings will be held at the Silver Spot Cinema in Downtown Miami. The festival also features a lineup of panel discussions, three short programs, exclusive virtual showings, Cocktails & Cinema Happy Hours, and not-to-be-missed parties at various venues in Miami. The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival started in 1998; the Fort Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in 2008. Both were brought together under one brand: OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival – underscoring our broad appeal and dynamic multicultural location. Critically and internationally acclaimed, it serves as a platform for numerous premiers and is the largest LGBTQ+ cultural arts event in South Florida. The Fort Lauderdale Edition of OUTshine will be held from October 19th through the 29th.
